Financial Contributions
A large no. of Parivaar supporters annually contribute towards the Recurring Expenditures of the Parivaar Ashram Residential Institution and Amar Bharat Vidyapeeth (which were Rs 1.5 Cr last year). We have mentioned a suggested donation amount of Rs 15,000 to our supporters who wish to contribute towards the Recurring Expenditures. Of course one may contribute any amount (lower or higher) than this suggested amount.
The average costs per child at Parivaar are around (Rs 30,000) varying with the age of the child and the Class/Grade in which he/she is studying) and are towards various headings like fooding (4 times a day plus early morning snacks), clothing (sets of School uniforms, general dresses, other dresses for sports, nightwear, dresses for outings etc), health & medical, hospitalisation insurance, school education, personalised after-school tutorship and learning, training in sports, arts, music and dance, periodic excursions, festivity celebrations, and recreations. Parivaar children have the environment and facilities just like in any other middle-class Indian household where best opportunties for all-round develpment of children are provided which would pave way for their bright futures.
Because of a variety of reasons, Parivaar, as a policy, accepts financial contributions towards Parivaar Ashram as a whole, and not in form of a particular child-based sponsorship. The whole Parivaar Ashram community is one family and all expenses are common. All the funds are therefore received towards Parivaar Ashram family collectively. We therefore do not have a Child Sponsorship Policy. Each contribution benefits one and all at the same time.
One may contribute towards any of the below-given cost components
Annual Nutritional Support for a resident child
INR 16,000
This includes morning breakfast, luncg, evening tiffin, packed tiffin during school hours, dinner.
Annual Educational support for a resident child
INR.5000
This includes, School expenses, textbooks, notebooks stationery material, library expenses, after-school tutorship and coaching expenses.
Annual Clothing Support for a resident child
INR 3000
This includes sets of School uniforms, general dressesn for non-schooling hours, dresses for sports, nightwear, dresses for outings etc
Annual Medical Support for a resident child
INR 2000
This includes medicines, doctor's consultation expenses, periodic check-ups etc
Annual Sports, Cultural & Recreational support for a resident child
INR 2500
This includes Sports (outdoor games with coached traing in cricket, footbal, volleyball, table-tennis), games (scrabble, carrom, board-games etc), trainings in arts and cultural spheres like mucic (both vocal and intrumental through accomplshed trainers), dances (Rabindrik and Manipuri styles)), theatre (expenses for sets, propos, designes, dresses, make-up etc), arts and craft (accomplished trainer in sketching, painting, graphic arts), excursions etc.
Annual Hygiene and Toiletries support for a child:
INR 1500
This includes soaps, shampoo, hair-oil,cream / lotion in case of skin ailment, and girls hygiene items etc.
