Dear Friends,
On 25th, 26th and 27th August Parivaar’s 3rd 3-day Cultural Festival of the year was held. The other two 3-day festival’s were in January (Swami Vivekananda’s birthday), May (Tagore’s birthday). It was supposed to be in the week of Independence Day but due to bad weather in Kolkata during those days it had to be postponed. There were more than 50 dance performances, 3 plays (one on each day) including the 2 hour adaptation of Premchand’s short story ‘Panch Parameswar’ and a documentary drama on Chandrashekhar Azad. A large number of songs and recitations were also there. Below are the pictures of the event. Regards,
